ONE METRO Campus: New atrium facade creates atmosphere and functionality

Artistic accents and a new glass facade transform the atrium of the METRO headquarter into a modern, functional space with an inviting atmosphere, improved quality of stay and additional uses. #EnablingMoments

Facades determine the external appearance of a building, as well as the character and perception of a space. The new atrium facade not only contributes to the architectural enhancement of the existing property, but also creates a transparent entrance situation to METRO and the neighbouring restaurants. The use of glass harmoniously dissolves the boundary between inside and outside. The resulting glass facade also improves the acoustics and ensures a pleasant indoor climate in the atrium. The result is a protected yet open space that allows people to retreat and invites them to socialise and interact.
