At the leading international trade fair for the real estate industry from March 15-18, METRO PROPERTIES was present as a premium partner at the City of Düsseldorf booth again this year.

The redesigned booth of the state capital presented itself with an open and light look and feel and was highly frequented by partners and trade fair visitors.

The traditional visit of Düsseldorf's Lord Mayor Thomas Geisel at the booth of the state capital was once again an occasion to swap ideas about current topics and projects and continue the regular dialogue with the local politicians.

Jean-Christophe Bretxa, CEO of METRO PROPERTIES, drew a résumé before leaving to the opening of "Einkaufspark Duckwitz" in Bremen: "Here at MIPIM, we feel the growing appetite for real estate in general and for retail properties. In the age of online trade, the human dimension is getting more and more important in stationary trade. For us as a retail real estate company, this means new challenges, but it also creates new opportunities and makes our work extremely exciting."

During four days, the industry event brought the entire value chain of the real estate world together in the Grand Palais in Cannes. The motto of this year’s conference program was "Housing the world". And in fact, the outstanding international trade fair also attracted an audience from around the world. Project developers, architects and city planners, investors and representatives from politics and economy got the latest information about recent projects, market developments and innovation in all asset classes. Numerous conferences and events attracted visitors for exchange and networking.
