Information Technology & Organisation

Our employees are responsible for all matters relating to a modern company IT and communications infrastructure - from assisting the individual departments with assessing which tools and applications they need to implementing and providing support for technical solutions. In close consultation with METRO’s IT, we provide the operating and administrative units with a wide array of real estate-specific software solutions.

As an internal service provider to METRO PROPERTIES and MEC, we ensure smooth work processes and occupational health and safety at the Saarbrücken site. This includes building services and building management, postal services, reception, the telephone switchboard, the archives, procurement and the canteen.

Serving as an intermediary for the METRO PROPERTIES departments, the tenants and our service providers, we see to it that the properties are managed efficiently and that there is transparency regarding the lease agreements.

The business partners who work within CAMPUS HR Operations assist the managers with all HR- and organisation-related aspects of strategy implementation and day-to-day business operations. CAMPUS HR Experts provides consultancy services for various corporate divisions, for example on the topics of remuneration and benefits, HR development, and health and safety.

Always on the cutting edge: energy efficiency, the generation of green energy, the procurement of Group-wide energy supply and the future topic of electromobility are the core competencies of the Energy Management & Real Estate Sustainability department.

External and internal communications: a good public image is just as important to METRO PROPERTIES as providing all of its employees with comprehensive and up-to-date information. The responsibilities here include PR activities and marketing, maintenance of the internal social network and the corporate website, and corporate design.

We also organise our presence at national and international events; we have significant responsibility for the hosting of the 2 biggest real estate fairs, EXPO REAL in Munich and MIPIM in Cannes.

We are the first port of call regarding METRO PROPERTIES’ financial matters. Together with our Controlling, Finance and Risk Management co-workers, we in the Real Estate Finance department deliver comprehensive finance solutions and help METRO PROPERTIES to achieve its corporate goals.

We handle all the data relating to the METRO PROPERTIES real estate business, processing, analysing, evaluating and collating it. This involves various divisions such as Data Room Services, Real Estate Data Management, Real Estate Valuation and Market & Data Intelligence all working hand in hand.
